Flagship environment

Winter Guard

Winter Guard is the flagship. The floor, the sets, the counts, the pathways, and the equipment each performer carries are the things SET was shaped to handle, because they are the things a guard designer works with every day. Everything else in SET grows outward from here.

A show built as a sequence of sets, with every pathway visible on the floor

2D spatial design

Place performers on the floor and move them where the design needs them. The drill view is the working surface — a real coordinate space, not a sketch.

Available in beta

Pathways

Every performer carries a path between sets. Pathways are drawn on the floor so a transition can be read as a whole before it is ever taught.

Available in beta

Draw pathways by hand

On iPad, draw pathways straight onto the floor with touch or Apple Pencil, wherever you are designing in SET. Curve a path where the movement should curve, instead of accepting a straight line between two points. You are drawing the route yourself — SET holds the line you made and does not straighten it or invent one for you.

Available in beta

Sets

Build the show as a sequence of sets. Save a new set, update the one you are on, or revise the transition coming into it.

Available in beta

Transition counts and timing

Give each transition its count length and see where every set falls in the show. Counts and time stay visible together along the timeline.

Available in beta

Music import and timing tools

Bring the show's audio in and align the design to it — set the first count, mark beats and counts, and work against the track the ensemble will actually perform to.

Available in beta

Equipment controls

Assign equipment to individual performers and change that assignment from set to set. SET reflects those equipment changes during playback, so you can track what each performer is using throughout the show.

Available in beta

3D visualization

Switch the same show into three dimensions and watch it move on the floor, rather than reading it as coordinates on a page.

Available in beta

Multiple camera perspectives

Move the camera to where the show is actually watched from — the bleachers, the judges, overhead, or free view — and see what each of them sees.

Available in beta

2D / 3D switching

One show, two views. Design in the drill view, check it in three dimensions, and move between them without losing your place.

Available in beta

Project save and open

Shows are saved to your beta account and reopened where you left them.

Everything above is in the current SET beta. Access is by invitation and access code.
